A Disciple of Christ according to the Scriptures

Acts 11:26 informs us that the disciples were called Christians. This tells us that all Christians are disciples and all disciples are Christians. While the terms do not mean the same thing, they refer to the same people.

A True Disciple of Christ is:

J)...To each other (edifying the saved): Ezra 7:10

K)...What happens when we do not continue in that word. Isa. 5:13, Hos. 4:6

L)...Love One Another John 13:34-45

M)...We are to love. 1 Pet. 1:22, Mat. 22:36-40, 1 Cor. 13

N)...We are to love as Christ loved. He gave himself; Eph. 5:2, 25

O)...Laid down His life. John 10:11, 15, 1 John 3:16
